Overview and Purpose
You will be conducting various user studies throughout the course of the semester. Texas A&M University has an Institutional Review Board (IRB) that approves user study plans such as the ones you will be creating. Because you will be using human subjects for your user studies and observing their behaviors, you must complete the required IRB Certification training. Everyone is responsible for completing their own certification. The steps for completing the IRB Certification can be found in this guide.
