Disasters by Design Project: Disaster Preparedness Web-based Game

The team is expected to 1) work with the Red Cross to create the set of
requirements, 2) design, implement, and test the program (internally and beta), and 3) present to the Red Cross with a well-documented programmer’s manual that will enable a non-team members to make modifications or additions. The web-based game is expected to be similar to http://www.stopdisastersgame.org/en/home.html, but specialized for the southern US.

The motivation for this project is that the Southern ** based in Houston is always exploring new ways to educate the general population.

This project could lead to a summer internship or REU.
